Detailed Description:
Depicts existing passenger rail stations operated by regional transit authorities in North Central Texas. Includes light rail, commuter rail, streetcar, and public people mover, but does not include Amtrak. Digitized from a combination of several previous internal datasets corrected by 2019 NCTCOG orthophotography.
Relevant Attributes:
Name: Station name
Mode: People Mover, Commuter Rail, Light Rail, or Streetcar (multiple modes separated by slashes)
Line: Transit authority line names (multiple lines separated by slashes)
Agency: Transit authority that maintains and operates the line
Location: Description of the station's physical location
Address: Street address if available
City: Municipality in which the station is located
Year_Opened: Year in which the line segment opened to revenue service
Model_ID: Currently empty for all segments but may be used to model segment IDs to join data from travel demand model runs.
